Packout
When water damage affects a large portion of your home, it may be necessary to safely remove your belongings to prepare the space for demolition, drying, and rebuild. This step is known as the packout phase. Depending on the size of the project and the sensitivity of your items, we may move your contents into a portable on-site storage unit, placed in your driveway if space allows. In cases where climate or humidity control is essential, items will be securely transported to an off-site storage facility to ensure proper preservation.
Not all jobs require a full packout—smaller restoration projects may allow for items to be protected and left in place. However, for larger or full-structure restorations, removing contents is often a critical part of ensuring both property safety and project efficiency. During this phase, our team handles all logistics with care, clearly labeling, documenting, and protecting your belongings to ensure everything is returned in its original condition once the work is complete.
